Welcome to Year 4!
Mr Bainbridge is the teacher in Class 6, working alongside Miss Elliott and Miss Russell.
We have lots of interesting topics to enjoy in Class 6. In Science we look at subjects such as sound, electricity and digestion. We learn all about the Greeks and the Romans in our History work. In Geography we look at Settlements and the continent of Europe.
We have our PE lessons every Tuesday. Children should come in dressed for PE on that day.
Every Tuesday we have our weekly music lessons.. We are all trying to learn to play a brass instrument this year.
Children are given homework on a Friday which can be returned to school on the following week. We would encourage children to read at home as much as possible. Children should bring their signed reading diaries to school every Monday.
Children will be given spellings to learn every Friday and need to be practised for a test the following Friday
